Media Spotlight 2025 brings together global thought-leaders to unpack the next wave of media planning, audience reach, and brand resilience.

Speakers

Astrud Burgess — Chief Marketing Officer, ANZ Group & GM Marketing, Data & CX, ANZ NZ

Astrud steers ANZ’s global growth agenda while overseeing marketing, data, and customer experience for New Zealand’s largest bank. Her career spans 25 years at the intersection of creativity and analytics.

Named NZ Effies “Most Effective Marketer” (2023), she chairs analytics firm Dot Loves Data and champions inclusive leadership through ANZ’s LGBTQI+ network.

Astrud will share how big brands can stay agile without losing the core that makes them trusted.

Eugene Healey — Brand Strategy Consultant & Educator

Melbourne-based strategist Eugene Healey makes cultural chaos comprehensible for brands, advising clients worldwide on staying relevant as attention splinters and algorithms reshape discovery.

Eugene lectures in brand management at the University of Melbourne Business School and shares insights with 300k+ followers online, blending academic rigour with frontline strategy.

Eugene will decode what “social” really means in 2025 and the mindset shifts marketers need next.

Zoe Scaman — Founder, Bodacious

Zoe runs Bodacious, the strategy studio charting new frontiers in brand and entertainment innovation. She has helped Nike, Netflix, EA Games, Coca-Cola, and Snapchat translate emerging tech and cultural shifts into growth.

With two decades in strategy, Zoe’s seminal works, such as The New Fandom Formula, and her advocacy for industry change earned her a place in BIMA’s Hall of Fame (2025). She is also CSO at 77X, Luka Dončić’s youth-culture studio, following senior stints at Naked, Droga5, and Ridley Scott Creative Group.

Zoe will outline why tomorrow’s winning brands behave less like broadcasters and more like cultural antennas.
