Virtual Medical MyTimeÂ
About this event
Are you a parent or carer who is navigating the medical system with a child with disability, developmental delay or autism? Does your child have regular hospital admissions?
Join this peer group discussion to share strategies for balancing care for your hospitalized child with other family needs. From how to manage work and home responsibilities during a stressful time, to finding resources and support systems. It's a safe space to connect with other parents who understand the unique challenges you face. Come prepared to share your experiences and learn from others!
This event is facilitated by Pam
Pam lives in Canberra with her husband Tom and their four children. Their nine-year-old son, Christopher, was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus. They enjoy spending quality time together as a family, creating special memories and raising compassionate humans. Pam is passionate about empowering new mothers and carers to own their choices.Â
She is currently studying to become a qualified birth, postpartum, and end-of-life doula to work closely with and better support families facing difficult diagnoses in utero, neonatally, and beyond.
