    Making Hospital Stays Comfortable

    Virtual Medical MyTime

    About this event

Are you a parent or carer who is navigating the medical system with a child with disability, developmental delay or autism?  Does your child you have regular hospital admissions?

Join this peer group discussion to share tips and strategies for making hospital stays as comfortable as possible for you and your child. Whether it’s packing the right comfort items, creating a familiar space, managing routines, or sharing self-care tips for parents during a stressful time. Come to share your experiences, learn from others, and walk away with a toolkit to make your next hospital stay a little less unpleasant and a lot more manageable.

This event is facilitated by Pam

Pam lives in Canberra with her husband Tom and their four children. Their nine-year-old son, Christopher, was born with Congenital Cytomegalovirus. They enjoy spending quality time together as a family, creating special memories and raising compassionate humans. Pam is passionate about empowering new mothers and carers to own their choices.

She is currently studying to become a qualified birth, postpartum, and end-of-life doula to work closely with and better support families facing difficult diagnoses in utero, neonatally, and beyond.

    Who is this event for?

Medical MyTime is for parents and carers who are navigating the health and medical systems with a child with disability, developmental delay or neurodivergence.
