Medicine Women Ritual
Description
Beltane circle
An invitation to gather at this time where the boundaries between spirit and ancestral realms are said to be porous, to honour the turning of the great seasonal wheel of Earth and the medicine echoing through our bodies.
As spring reaches its peak let us celebrate all that's fertile in our lives and nurture, in togetherness, the desire that's burning through our hearts.
We'll be accompanied by Hawthorn, blooming all around us at this season of renewal. An ancient carrier of medicine for the heart, Hawthorn offers, in the words of my teacher, Isla Burgess, 'protective healing'.
We’ll explore how our lives, health, and relationships – to ourselves, each other, land, animate forces – may transform through remembrance of thriving life embedded within our menstrual blood; connect with womb codes in ways that amplify creative power and vitality throughout the life cycle of womanhood; delve into matrilineal memory and cultures of indigenous Europe. We’ll weave together ritual, menstrual cycle awareness, Celtic / earth based wisdom, herbalism, relational + embodiment practice.
Come drink from the wellspring of women sharing what feels real, raw, and vital to creating regenerative ways of being.
Space is limited to 6 as this is intended to be an intimate space for connection.
Circles are offered at two price tiers in the spirit of gift economy and making this offering accessible. It’s an invitation to notice your own pool of resources and choose an amount that feels possible and meaningful. This approach allows the ecology of these circles to stay alive: accessible to those who need support, and sustained by those who have the means to give a little more. This pricing is intended to contribute to living culture that centres care, reciprocity, and diversity. See here for more information and why this is important to me.
