Medieval Fair at Hunter Region Botanic Gardens

After the success of our first event last year, Hunter Region Botanic Gardens is thrilled to invite LARP (live action role play) groups - Battlecry Fields of Ashnoor and Swordcraft Newcastle back for an even bigger and better event this year.

There will be armour, There will be sword fights. There will be knights. There will be battles. There will be music and games.

Enjoy some medieval fare - toffee apples, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, roasted nuts, sausage sizzle and more.

You can try your hand at the bow range, throwing axes, band guns and sword battles.

Dress up in the spirit of the event and win prizes for the best costume.

This event is fun for all ages.

NOTE: Weather Watch - at this stage the event will be going ahead even if showers are predicted. Just bring an umbrella and pretend you are in medieval England!
