Medieval manuscripts are full of strange little guys: armored snails, sword-wielding rabbits, questionable dragons, and creatures with absolutely inexplicable intentions.
In Medieval Menaces, we’ll borrow from the wonderfully bizarre world of medieval marginalia to create creatures of our own.
Transfer a historical creature, combine parts from several, or invent your own, then bring your menace to life with watercolor, gouache, ink, metallics, and plenty of unnecessary embellishment.
