She’s here! Fans of legendary cook Maggie Beer will need to move quick to see her up close at Venue 114, Bokarina on Friday 2 August 2024.

In this exclusive event presented by Sunshine Coast Libraries and Venue 114 for The Curated Plate Festival, Maggie will talk about her new book Maggie’s Recipe for Life with popular radio personality, Caroline Hutchinson.

Maggie Beer’s many best-selling cookbooks include Maggie’s Harvest, Maggie’s Kitchen and Maggie’s Verjuice Cookbook. As well as overseeing Maggie Beer Products in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, Maggie appears as a judge on The Great Australian Bake-Off and heads up the Maggie Beer Foundation committed to providing a good food life for all.

With over 200 delicious recipes and the latest scientific research, bestselling author Maggie Beer and leading Alzheimer’s researcher Professor Ralph Martins show us how to eat and live well to promote optimum brain health. This second edition contains a new introduction and 13 recipes from the ABC TV series Maggie Beer’s Big Mission.

Her famous Farm Shop, opened to the public in 1979, created the blueprint for paddock to plate enthusiasts everywhere.

Maggie’s books will be available for purchase at the venue with a special book signing session.

Tickets are $25 per person plus booking fee. Registration essential. For ages 16+ and over.
