Meet the Agent Alex Adsett | Byron Writers Festival 2025
Event description
Meet the Agent - Alex Adsett
Once you’ve finished polishing your manuscript, the next step is to submit it to agents and publishers. But it’s hard for any writer to know if their work is really ready for that step – an opinion from an expert is invaluable. In this consultation, you’ll be given feedback on your work and whether or not it’s ready to submit. You’ll also have the chance to discuss where your work fits into the current marketplace and be able to talk about what your next steps should be.
WHERE: Uniting Church, 17 Station Street Bangalow
WHEN: Friday 8 August (4 sessions) & Saturday 9 August (4 sessions)
COST: $160 General | $140 Byron Writers Festival Festival Member + booking fees
Please check-in with our Festival Volunteer at least 10 minutes before your session
Participants will be required to send up to a 10-page excerpt of their work (Times New Roman 12-point font, double spaced), along with a 1-page synopsis, for review.
