Meet the Artists Panel Discussion - Callum Docherty with USAP Collective
Event description
Join Callum Docherty and co-exhibiting artists with USAP Collective in Gallery M for an informal discussion about their diverse art practices, as facilitated by Ann-Marie Green, director and curator of Gallery M.
Closer to Home
Closer to Home reveals an intimate perspective of the artist’s life, by inviting the visitor into his personal space. The work becomes an extension of his home, elsewhere. Callum’s most recent work has been informed by and created from processes including the collection, observation and conservation of found objects; photographic documentation; and multidisciplinary practices with a focus on responding to site-specific materials and other areas of interest. Closer to Home extends and further explores the developments and applications of these methodologies. The exhibition critically reflects upon what home means to us collectively - is it where we come from? Is it where we are? Or perhaps, where we desire to be?Â
