Join USAP Collective and co-exhibiting artist, Callum Docherty in Gallery M for an informal discussion about their diverse art practices, as facilitated by Ann-Marie Green, director and curator of Gallery M.

Beyond the South Seas
This exhibition will showcase the unique perspectives of Australian Filipino artists as they reflect on the commonality of the self as they approach the water and the differences in how we have experienced coming to the beach. The exhibition will include work made in Somerton Park, Glenelg and Brighton contrasted with work made on the beaches of the South Seas of the Philippines, which will highlight the diversity of our experiences as families at the beach, and also how we are all met by the water in the same way. The artists will showcase the relationship with the shore, water and depth and the contrasting experiences of swimming in both cultures. One fear, one fun.
