Event description

Robyn Howarth was the eldest of six female students who, with their young female teacher, were kidnapped by two masked men from the tiny Faraday State School in 1972.

This dreadful event impacted greatly on the lives of those kidnapped as well as the Faraday and broader community. Robyn bravely tells her story to reclaim this beautiful part of Victoria too long overshadowed by the infamous 'Faraday Kidnapping'.

Join Robyn as she shares her experiences, which involved two men silhouetted by balaclavas standing in the classroom and a ransom note demanding $1 million.
