Meet the candidates for the Mt Lawley electorate in the WA state election. (NB - one candidate unavailable but sending written responses)

Why come?

We’ve just had the hottest year on earth. WA is a major exporter of gas – one of the main contributors of global warming. Global warming is increasing and puts vulnerable populations at risk of death, hospitalisation or needing to move. Air conditioning, home improvements, electrification are needed but where in a cost of living crisis. It’s not just a climate crisis but a biodiversity crisis. Animal species are on the edge of extinction, including right here in Perth. Life can be hard, and climate change has health impacts – are we doing enough to support our communities and their health? What about the environment and the health of our kids and future generations? This is your chance to ask questions and hear what your local candidates would like to do for your community.
