Event description

As 2020 has already shown, the next generation will face unprecedented challenges in nature and scale in the coming century. To help your students tackle these challenges and thrive in an uncertain future, join us on Wednesday 21 October to get actionable tips on developing innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets in the classroom.

Get actionable tips on developing innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets in high school students. Hear from four talented teachers who recently completed the Entrepreneurial Educators Program on their key learnings and how they are applying these in their schools.

You’ll walk away with practical tips around how to get started or build on existing initiatives to cultivate innovation in your school and in the classroom.

The panel session will be moderated by Emily Chang (Director, Entrepreneurship) from Sydney School of Entrepreneurship (SSE) and joined by four of the talented teachers who recently completed the Entrepreneurial Educators Program to share their experiences and insights. This will be followed by a Q+A and optional virtual networking.

This is an online webinar - you will receive the Zoom details after registration with a reminder sent before commencement.

About the Entrepreneurial Educators Program

The Entrepreneurial Educators Program gives teachers across NSW the unique opportunity to develop skills in creativity, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and innovation. Through the program, teachers learn how to identify a problem, create new ideas, develop a solution and tell their story.

With the support of our expert facilitation team, teachers work together on an innovation project. They leave the program with entrepreneurial tools, methods and thinking that they can apply in the classroom and use to support similar learnings with their students.
