Local Government elections will take place in October 2024

Women in Local Democracy (WILD), and the City of Greater Geelong support gender equality and diversity in local political leadership, and endorse the Victorian Government’s gender parity target of 50/50 representation at the 2024 Local Government elections.

We are hosting a forum with the women councillors. The following councillors will be in attendance:

Cr Melissa Cadwell   Cr Sarah Hathway    Cr Elise Wilkinson     Cr Belinda Moloney

Women candidates, campaign team members and supporters of gender parity on Council are invited to this important forum, to have an opportunity to discuss:

  • Insights into the Councillor's role
  • Tips for successful campaigning
  • Your campaign questions/issues
