Expression Session for Design: Designing for Learning with Wendy Taleo, Education Designer and Technologist (SFHEA)

As part of our University of Technology Sydney Graduate Certificate in Learning Design and the microcredential for Design: Designing for Learning, we invite guest speakers to share their knowledge and experiences with our students (we call these our 'Expression Sessions'). Please join us for this Expression Session and meet Wendy Taleo, Education Designer and Technologist, and a senior fellow of the higher education academy.

In this session, Wendy will lead an interactive agenda based around how a professional in the field addresses learning design challenges with relevant literature with our learners and those interested in the field. 

About Wendy 

Wendy is an enthusiastic and creative Education Designer and Technologist. She has a degree from Deakin University and an early career in the Information Technology (IT) field and work in the South Pacific. With a Masters of Arts in Online and Distance Education (MAODE) through the Open University, UK, Wendy continues her passion in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) across diverse sectors and disciplines. Her most recent role at Monash University involved working as an Education Designer. Wendy's research interests are in collaborative research with arts based methodologies in the TEL field and she is currently writing her first poetry book.
