Inventory Management Systems Fun at Quickcorp

Hey MEF Heads!

Inventory management systems are fun and easy to implement. Just ask Adam and the team at Quickcorp...

We're joking, obviously. They're completely necessary for scaling a high production environment, but it can be a real challenge to select, implement, and then get adoption from your team - whether you're transitioning from an old system (including from an excel spreadsheet)or starting afresh.

There are lots of systems on the market, and they all have different strengths and weaknesses. What we really don't want is for each of us to learn about this the hard way and in isolation. Sharing our learnings and discussing what's fit for our businesses is a big part of that.

Hopefully this event can be the beginning of a broader conversation.

Apart from having a tour of the massive Quickcorp facility and hearing about their journey, they've recently completed an ERP/IM deployment so we'll have a chat about that to see what we can learn more broadly (also with some special guests - TBC).

For reference - Quickcorp are massive and are extremely vertically integrated (from rotor moulding to CNC machining and heaps in between).

If you love tech and trucks - this one is for you. It's kinda like "Pimp my Ride", but run by/for emergency services personnel...

Anyways, it's shaping up to be another cracker. We hope to see you there!
