MegaLAN returns in 2025

UNSW's biggest PC, console, tabletop gaming and cosplay event

MegaLAN is UNSW's very own student-run gaming convention, where we come together for 2 days packed with casual gaming and tournaments. Game your own way and meet other people who love gaming and PCs just as much as you do!

What's on at MegaLAN:

• PCSoc and MegaLAN unveil a brand new segment: Oceanic Prodigies. Join us as 8 universities face-off in a LIVE VALORANT TOURNAMENT on the Big Stage. Cheer for UNSW (and boo the others) as we face off against USYD, UTS, WSU, MQU, UoW, UoN and ANU!
• Magic: the Gathering Aetherdrift Draft Tournament
• League of Legends: Ultimate Bravery on the Big Stage
• Minecraft: ice sled race on the Big Stage + minigames
• Compete in fighting games: Tekken 8, King of Fighters XV, Street Fighter 6, Guilty Gear Strive, Smash Bros. Ultimate and more!
• Virtual reality - come in and try it out, or BYO headset and show ‘em whose boss - Bring your own PC, laptop or console for the classic LAN experience
• Find buddies for Marvel Rivals, League of Legends, CS and more! (PC)
• Bring your best cosplay, with several categories to win awesome prizes in!
• PC build showcase and PC cleaning station, get some “before” and “after” photos of your dust coffins
• Bringing your PC for troubleshooting assistance is also welcome
