Purim is coming!!! If you’re interested in learning to leyn (read) Megillah, or simply curious – sign up for this Megillah reading workshop for women on Sunday 13 February 8pm (and be in touch ASAP if you'd like to read some of the Megillah at one of our women's only readings this year!)

WOTIV is a Melbourne-based initiative that provides opportunities for Jewish women of all ages to participate in or support Orthodox women’s Shabbat Mincha, Simchat Torah, Kabbalat Shabbat services and Megillah readings. Services are held in participating Orthodox shules in Melbourne.
The Sydney Women's Tefilah Group http://jewishaustralia.com/syd...The Sydney Women's Tefilah Group was founded in 1993 and has been active since that time. Our aim is to increase opportunities for women to learn about and participate in Orthodox prayer and ritual. We hold regular tefillot including Shabbat Mevarchim Mincha (about 6 times per year); Rosh Chodesh Shacharit (when Rosh Chodesh falls on a Sunday), Megillat Esther reading, Simchat Torah service and other special events such as Tu Bishvat Seder, Mincha at the annual Women's Shabbat at the Great Synagogue, Shacharit service at the Limmud Oz conference, Bat Mitzvah services, etc. We also hold regular shiurim and other learning events as well as acting as a resource for women seeking ideas for Bat Mitzvah or Simchat Bat celebrations for their daughters.
COST:
This program is available to everyone free of charge. However, if you are able to make a donation it would be very much appreciated and will be divided between the organisations involved.
