MEI Symposium 25
Event description
IN PERSON EVENT ONLY
The Melbourne Energy Institute invites you to join us at our end-of-year event, MEI Symposium 25.
The annual MEI Symposium showcases the multi-disciplinary energy research taking place throughout the University of Melbourne. Importantly, it provides a space for collaboration, as well as an opportunity to celebrate the past year's accomplishments.
Each year, the MEI Symposium features prominent international and local keynote speakers, talented graduate students, and academic staff presenting their research within MEI’s four program areas: Energy Systems, Energy Materials, Power Generation and Transport, Heavy Industry and Resources.
We are delighted to welcome Professor Eric F. May FTSE, FIChemE, GAICD, Managing Director of the Future Energy Exports CRC and Director of Gas Capture Technologies Pty Ltd, as our plenary speaker. Prof. May will explore how technologies and lessons from the LNG industry can play a vital role in building the future hydrogen and CO₂ supply chains needed to achieve global decarbonisation goals.
