About Flowwa, the Not-For-Profit Arts Organisation for social change:Β
Flowwa is a survivor-led, Not-For-Profit organisation that runs art x wellness workshops, nature retreats and peer-support for violence survivors.Β Flowwa is rooted in our love for flowers andΒ the specific Japanese belief about nature -Β that humans are equal residents of this planet alongside all living things. It's in our name "Flow-wa" - 'Wa' in Japanese means 'Harmony' and 'Community'. Lastly, 'Wa'Β is the sound of amazement, joy, wonders and appreciation.Β
Like all kinds of flowers in nature, everyone's journeys of healing and growing is unique and everyone has an important role to play in our community. Survivors' stories give so much insights and drive to make the world safer, healthier and kinder.Β
