MELBOURNE Breathplay Workshop for Beginners

Please join Mistress Danielle, a professional dominatrix and rescue diver/scuba master in this hands-on workshop designed to enable students to give and receive breathplay. We will examine anatomy, the risk of breathplay, various tools we can apply, techniques to play with, risk management. We will discuss negotiations, consent, warm-ups, safe words, aftercare and emergency plan required.

1. Learn about how to give and receive with combination of theory and practice.
2. Enable deeper understanding of the importance of safety through group discussion and reflection.
3. Practice a set of impactful techniques that can be used to manage your risk.
4. Effective communication techniques while avoiding the common pitfalls of edge play.

All of our classes aim to be LGBTQ+ inclusive, all genders are welcome, and we will endeavour to use safe language by using neutral medical terminology if binary language causes discomfort or dysphoria for participants. We hope other participants respect each other on this matter as well. LGBTQ+-phobia is not condoned in our classes. Consent is of utmost importance in our classes as well, there might be opportunities for demonstrations or guided practice on each person's play partner, if participants consent to it.

FACILITATOR:

Mistress Danielle has been a professional dominatrix since 2010 and she loves her work. She loves having kinky adventures around the world, having previously performed in the 10th Montreal Fetish weekend in Canada, worked with Serious Bondage in San Francisco and played professionally in London and Canada.

Danielle is a professional scuba dive-master and rescue diver; this aided her to cultivate prudent BDSM play, which she incorporates into her classes. In Australia she has been teaching at the Ozkink festival for the 4 years. Her written work has been featured in Demasque, Red Pocket press (for queer POC) and Intro room (SW pride fund raising).

In 2022 she performed at Dark spark, kink play party ATOMICA and hosted the spanking station at the biggest queer party in Melbourne - Unicorn, she was also one of the finalists for Miss Melbourne Rubber. As a kinky queer poly person of colour, she is devoted to facilitate a space that is shame-free, ethical and playful for all gender expressions.

Her other interests are: cats, coffee, and latex bondage.
