Israel: It's time to Dream Again (Melbourne)

Israel was built on vision, courage and hope — and it’s time to dream again.

At a crossroads following Israel’s greatest challenges to date, The Jewish Independent is hosting Sir Mick Davis and Mike Prashker of The London Initiative for a community-wide conversation exploring the future of Israel’s democracy and the role of the Jewish Diaspora in shaping it. They will be speaking with TJI editor-in-chief Deborah Stone.

The London Initiative brings fresh thinking from its experience linking Israeli and Diaspora leadership to accompany and support the movement for an Israel that we and a majority of Israelis want it to be.
The evening will explore how the Jewish diaspora  can and will find a way through unchartered waters, to engage in ongoing dialogue about values, principles, democracy, security and hope for the future.

It is an opportunity to listen, learn, and contribute to a respectful discussion on Israel’s future — one that prizes understanding over agreement and hope over division.
