Melbourne FAIR Chapter - End of Year Meeting
Description
Melbourne FAIR Chapter – End of Year Catch-Up
Thursday, 19 November 2026 | 5:45pm – 7:30pm
FTI Consulting | Level 50, 600 Bourke Street, Melbourne
Join us for the final Melbourne FAIR Chapter event of 2026!
We're wrapping up the year with a relaxed evening of networking, an insightful guest presentation and an opportunity to connect with fellow cyber risk professionals.
Whether you're an experienced FAIR practitioner or simply interested in financial cyber risk quantification, we'd love to see you there.
Guest Speaker: Catarina Ng
Reputational damage is one of the most challenging aspects of cyber risk quantification. While the FAIR methodology provides a structured approach to estimating financial loss, understanding the commercial consequences of damaged reputation, lost customer trust and brand impact requires expertise beyond traditional cyber security.
Our guest speaker, Catarina Ng, currently works in Brand AI Governance and Adoption at Medibank, having previously held senior roles in Brand Strategy, Customer Experience and Brand Governance.
Catarina brings a unique business perspective to the discussion, helping us explore how organisations can better understand reputational damage and develop more credible, defensible estimates of its financial impact.
We'll explore how insights from brand strategy and customer behaviour can inform the assessment of reputational loss within the FAIR framework.
This event is open to FAIR Institute members, cyber security and risk professionals, business leaders, and anyone interested in improving how organisations understand and quantify cyber risk.
We look forward to seeing you there!
