FAQs
- I am vegan/vegetarian, do I have to touch meat?
We completely understand that not everyone is comfortable handling animal products, if that's you - no worries! Just let your facilitator or chef know at the start of the session and we will find a task you are comfortable with.
- Can I leave early?
We ask that all volunteers stay for the whole sessions, as our kitchen production is relying on your help. We do understand that sometimes things can be out of your control, if one or two people need to leave the session early, that is ok. Please just let us know as soon as you can.
- Can I bring my child?
It's so lovely that people want to share this experience of doing meaningful work with their children, unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate volunteers over the age of 18 in these sessions.
- Is the space accessible?
We require volunteers to be able to stand for the duration of the session. If you have someone in the team that needs to be able to sit down for some of this session reach out to the team and we can see what we can do.
