About RAP Learning Circles

A RAP Learning Circle offers a safe space for you to talk through your experiences of developing and implementing reconciliation initiatives. Through critical reflections, these sessions are highly interactive, providing opportunity to build your knowledge and understanding of what makes a good RAP and how to implement it.

Our facilitators will encourage dialogue around a range of themes including cultural safety, building respectful relationships and making meaningful change for your stakeholders. You will also hear from guest speakers and network with organisations from a wide range of different sectors and RAP types.

A well developed and implemented RAP provides a framework to hold organisations accountable to their reconciliation commitments. Implementing a successful RAP requires an organisation to wholeheartedly embrace its RAP and commit to long-term change.

We will use an open agile approach to cover the following three areas:

  1. Reflection: sharing stories, experiences and case studies;
  2. Learning: working as a group to identify underlying principles uncovered by reflection;
  3. Planning: developing a personal action plan based on learnings.

This is a unique learning opportunity that will benefit anyone who is developing or implementing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

We hope to see you there!
