Melbourne Roundtable Lunch: The Invisible Load of Leadership
Description
Melbourne Roundtable Lunch: The Invisible Load of Leadership
Navigating Complexity, Pressure & the “Juggle”
Join Business Women Australia for an intimate Boardroom Roundtable Lunch in the boardroom of HLB Mann Judd, Melbourne, as we explore the often-unspoken realities of leadership at senior levels.
In today’s fast-moving professional environment, many women are carrying an invisible load, balancing performance, decision-making, emotional labour, responsibility, career ambition, leadership expectations, and life outside of work.
This roundtable conversation creates space to pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue with other senior women navigating similar complexities.
Co-hosted with Joelle Tabone, Business Advisory Partner at HLB Mann Judd, and Kerrie Nobes of Kreating New Collaborations, this is an opportunity for peer group discussion in a safe, trusted, professional environment.
Joelle will share reflections from her own leadership journey, navigating professional responsibility, boards, motherhood, and the realities of leadership within a high-performance environment.
Kerrie will provide an update on Business Women Australia from the perspective of her role as Advisory Board member, and facilitate a deeper exploration of self-awareness, sustainable leadership, and intentional ways of leading.
Everyone is welcome as we explore deeply important issues facing women in entrepreneurial, professional, and executive roles:
The “invisible load” many women leaders carry
Leading effectively when capacity is stretched
The gap between how leadership looks externally and how it feels internally
Moving from survival mode to intentional leadership
How self-awareness shapes leadership impact and culture
The role leaders play in creating healthier, more sustainable workplaces and systems
Aligned to the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) dimensions of Being and Relating, this is not a networking lunch or panel discussion. It is a facilitated boardroom conversation designed to foster insight, connection, and conscious leadership development.
At Business Women Australia, we believe that through courageous conversations, greater awareness, and collective wisdom, we can become champions for healthier ways of leading and working.
This lunch is designed for founders, executives, directors, partners, managers, women on boards, and professional women seeking deeper leadership conversations in a supportive peer environment.
Places are intentionally limited to support meaningful discussion and connection.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided by our hosts at HLB Mann Judd.
