MELBOURNE Shibari Salon with Precipice Malum

Join master Sydney rigger Precipice Malum at Shibari Salon where they will be performing a demo with their rope bunny and giving a talk about their style and skills afterwards. There will be freeform play time afterwards, and Precipice will be available for chats and advice!

The event will take place at a private venue in Eaglemont. There will be room for 6 suspending couples, and the room will fit 20-24 tying people comfortably.

LOGISTICS

WHEN? 1-4pm, Saturday 15 September. Ticket sales close on Friday 14 September at 7pm.

WHERE? VICTORIA / Private Eaglemont venue 10 mins from public transport, exact address provided to ticket holders the day before the event with details of parking and transport. 

NEW TICKETING STRUCTURE TRIAL

We have added a a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket of $40, this is an option where you can pay what you can. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase 'lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!

We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!

FACILITATOR: PRECIPICE MALUM

Precipice is a Sydney based Dominant, sadist, rigger, performer, educator and the owner of a wonderfully evil mind. With a specific focus on the mental aspects of BDSM, Precipice employs a range of tools and techniques to elicit the desired response from his partners. While his interests are varied - ranging from mind games to impact to D/s - he has a particular passion for rope, which has seen him become heavily involved in the Australian rope community.

As a rigger, Precipice has studied in Japan and is constantly working to further his own abilities, while also sharing his resultant knowledge and skills with others. With a clean and methodical style, focusing on dynamic suspension, and combining subtle mental techniques, Precipice uses rope to capture both body and mind.

Since 2013 he has extensive experience teaching regular classes and weekend workshops  across a variety of subjects and at a range of levels. As a founding member of Studio Kink Sydney, Precipice has continued to utilise his broad knowledge-base and passion for teaching to impact the rope journey of others.
