Join Dan for another amazing Social Walk as we venture into Bunyip State Park for the stunning four brothers rock loop out in the hills near Gembrook. 

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Four Brothers Rock Loop at Bunyip State Park is an amazing hike for several reasons, making it a must-do for nature lovers and adventure seekers!

  1. Scenic Views: The loop offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding bushland, with rugged rock formations and dense forests. The trail winds through picturesque landscapes, giving you a great mix of natural beauty that constantly changes as you walk.
  2. Unique Rock Formations: As the name suggests, Four Brothers Rock is one of the highlights, a striking series of large, natural rock formations. These rocks stand out against the backdrop of towering trees and dense vegetation, providing great photo opportunities.
  3. Wildlife Spotting: Bunyip State Park is home to a variety of wildlife. You may spot wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas, and birdlife like lyrebirds and kookaburras along the trail. It’s a great chance for wildlife enthusiasts to see some of Australia’s iconic animals in their natural habitat.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Mortimer Picnic Ground

Meeting Time: Arrive 10:30am for a 10:50am Departure.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2-3L)

- Snacks and food for the hike

- Money to buy lunch at a pub/cafe after in Gembrook

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather the night before). 

- Hat / Sunglasses & Sun Protection

FINISH

The Hike should take around 4.5 - 5 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing. 

We finish back where we started where we can gather to then head to a local cafe or pub.
