Join expert guide Adam for a Spectacular hike as we head to Kinglake National Park to tackle the 14km Masons Falls and Mount Sugarloaf Circuit on an incredible day of adventure!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Kinglake National Park is a beautiful natural reserve located approximately 50 kilometers north of Melbourne. The park is part of the Great Dividing Range and is known for its diverse ecosystems, scenic landscapes, and rich biodiversity
The Masons Falls and Mount Sugarloaf Circuit within Kinglake National Park is a fantastic 14km trail that offers 478m of elevation. The track is great for any hikers looking to both take on a challenge and to get more experience. Amazing views of the surrounding area will be on the cards for the day plus the beautiful Masons Falls will provide a wonderful spot for a picnic break. A must do for anyone wanting to take on a new adventure and push themselves!
The trail should take around 4-4.5 hours to complete.
Upon finishing we will head to Whittlesea for a celebratory drink and a meal.
A moderate level of fitness is required for this event.
START TIME AND MEET LOCATION
MEETING LOCATION: Blackwood Picnic Area (National Park Road, Kinglake West, Kinglake National Park).

MEETING TIME: Arrive 9:30am SHARP to meetup and check in for a 10:00am sharp Departure.
NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to this event getting away on time. Participants not checked in by 9:50am may be left behind and forfeit their ticket.
PARKING: Available at the meeting spot
CARPOOLING: Need help finding a ride to the hike, feel free to post in the Melbourne Social Walks Facebook Group.
WHAT TO BRING
- Water (at least 2-3L)
- Snacks and food for the hike
- Picnic Lunch (Pack something light and easy that you can eat on the go if we are not able to stop on the hike due to weather conditions).
- Money for pub/café afterwards.
WHAT TO WEAR
- Comfortable suitable walking shoes - Hiking Boots are highly recommended.
- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing
- Hat, Sunscreen & Sun Protection

This trip will run from 10:00am to around 4:00pm including the stop in Whittlesea aftwards.
