ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join Dan for another spectacular sunrise walk with beautiful coastline views in Port Melbourne. This sunrise stroll is a PERFECT way to start the day and share a gorgeous sunrise with the Social Walks Crew. Port Melbourne is a stunning area to explore and we will be strolling down the Princes Pier and walking the boardwalk as we make our way to the Sandridge lookout.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Port Melbourne Surf Club to Sandridge Lookout is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the best way to wake up, share a coffee with friends whilst hanging with some cool people.
This trail is roughly 8km long and spans the best part of one of Melbourne's most incredible coastal suburbs.
With beach views along the entire trail, an easy difficulty, and in one of the greatest spots in Melbourne to catch a sunrise - How could you say no?
We will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day.
All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.
START TIME AND MEET LOCATION
MEETING LOCATION: Port Melbourne Surf Club.
MEETING TIME: Arrive between 6:00am - 6:10am where we will commence walking at 6:15am SHARP to catch the sunrise.
NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6:10am may be left behind.
PARKING: There is paid parking out the front of the Port Melbourne surf club that starts from 8am as well as free parking if available on Beaconsfield Parade over the road.
WHAT TO BRING
- Water (at least 1-2L)
- Snack food for the hike
- Money for café afterwards/during the walk (optional)
WHAT TO WEAR
- Comfortable Walking Shoes
- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).
- Hat / Beanie
FINISH
The Hike should take around an hour and a half with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing. At the start of the walk we will gauge work start times and cater accordingly to make sure you get to your shift on time.
The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
