    Event description

Join us for another awesome Social Walk with Nath and Lara on Saturday the 29th of June as we head to Emerald to complete the Wattle Creek Walk + The Emerald Lake Loop and walk along the gorgeous Puffing Billy Railway Track - Hopefully I've timed things right and will see the iconic steam train go past us!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

Meet our group and stay up to date with all our events here in our Facebook Group - Melbourne Social Walks

The Wattle Creek Walk + Wright, Blue, Grass Tree, and Boundary Track Loop is around 10km and is a fun and easy hike for beginners and newbies! We will be walking through mostly flat gorgeous bush lands.

The trail is roughly 7km and should take around 2 - 2.5 hours to complete depending on our pace. The trail is fairly easy with only around 200m of elevation (and which can be muddy went wet). Depending on how we feel afterwards, we can also complete the Emerald Lake Park Loop which is another 3.5kms.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. Dogs are welcome too!

This is a really great trail with an excellent chance to see beautiful Australian flora and fauna + a great chance we will see the Iconic Puffing Billy Stream train as for sections of the trail we will be right next to the train track.
