Melbourne WebFest 2024

The ninth annual Melbourne WebFest returns to the iconic Kaleide Theatre for 2024. This WebFest highlights ticket includes a panel session from leading creators, a selection of official screenings and the MWF 2024 Awards Ceremony. MWF 2024 is shaping up to be another show-stopping year celebrating storytelling and digital creators with entrants across 25 categories from around the globe.

Join us for Stream Queens an industry panel hosted by RMIT’s Alexa Scarlata for an insightful discussion from the current queens of Australian streaming creation. 

Featuring producer Katherine Fry and writer Michele Lee of the successful streaming series White Fever (ABC iView). Lucy Coleman, the creator and writer of current hit, Exposure (Stan). Also joining the conversation on stage comedian, actor Diana Nguyen and creator of web series sensation Phi and Me. 

After the panel sit back and enjoy highlights from the Grand Jury’s official selection on the big screen. Stick around for The 2024 Melbourne WebFest Awards Ceremony expect surprise showcases and special guests for the presentation including Best Drama, Best Comedy and of course find out who will take home the Grand Jury Prize for best overall project this year.

5:00pm- 6:00pm: Enjoy a drink with industry guests.

6:00pm-7:30pm: MWF 2024L Awards Ceremony
