Event description

Are you a young person passionate about the planet and ready to take action on climate change? The Youth Climate Leaders training brought to you by Climate for Change in partnership with Zoos Victoria will leave you feeling inspired and equipped with hands on experience and practice to make a difference and use your voice for good.

Over a day, you'll rotate through two dynamic workshops:

🌏 Climate for Change Workshop – This session will help you learn skills to talk about climate change in a way that is inspiring, and motivates people to take action. You will learn how to respond to key questions about climate change, and also about how to engage with politicians to ask for change!

🦘 Zoo-Led Climate & Conservation WorkshopExplore the Zoo grounds while discovering how climate change is impacting wildlife and biodiversity, and how to tell these amazing stories. Connect with like-minded peers and be inspired by the natural world and the role we all play in protecting it.

This is a unique opportunity to build your confidence, expand your climate knowledge, and become part of a growing network of young climate leaders.
