Event description
The return of MelbourneHack 2025!
This time we’re bringing you 3 tracks, 2 workshops, and a chance to pitch as one of our finalists. For each of the 3 tracks, a problem statement will be released during the opening ceremony, which teams will have to address for their chosen track. Whether you’re aiming to hone your hackathon skills or eager to compete in one of the biggest hackathons in Melbourne.
Teams: 1-4 members per team (participants do not have to be UniMelb students, but must register for the event and sign up for a HackMelbourne membership)
Opening Ceremony (Friday 29th August)
⏰Time: 5:30pm – 6:30pm
📍 Location: The Malaysian Theatre, Glyn Davis Building B1
Coding Hub Day (Saturday 30th August)
⏰ Time: 11am – 4pm
📍 Location: Arts West Building Level 2
🍕 Food provided
📌 Submissions due: Monday 1st September, 11:59pm
📌 Judging finalised: ~Wednesday 3rd September
🏁 Closing Ceremony & Finalist Pitching (Saturday 6th September)
⏰ Time: 3pm – 5pm
