🚗🚋🚊 HOW TO GET THERE 🚊🚋🚗
🚋 BY TRAM: Take the #57 tram from Elizabeth Street CBD to stop 23 (Stubbs Street). The Melbourne Pavilion is directly across Racecourse Road.
🚊 BY TRAIN: Take the Upfield line from Melbourne CBD to the Flemington Bridge Station. The Melbourne Pavilion is a 1 minute walk from the station travelling northbound (away from the city) on Racecourse Road.
🚗 BY CAR: There is limited street parking is available.

🧥 CLOAKROOM 🧥
A cloakroom will be available at the entrance of the venue. You can securely store your belongings for $5 per item.

🍴 FOOD & DRINK 🍴
The Galactica venue is fully licensed and there is no BYO, there’ll be plenty of delicious drinks for purchase on the day.
We also have two food trucks selling delicious vegan and vegetarian friendly options from 1-10pm.
Falafel off the Truck - a Middle Eastern Food Truck specialising in delicious Falafels.
Cha Chas Vegan - a Melbourne based food truck with a love for Mexican food and a modern twist using plant-based ingredients.
A note on selling: we always do our best to abide by the 10 principles when planning and executing our events, but because our annual fundraisers take place in urban venues we need to make some allowances and be practical, which means we can’t always achieve the magic of a burn where everything is 100% gifted and decommodified. The venue we use needs to cover the costs of hosting us and this happens through selling drinks.
Similarly we haven’t been able to source food vendors willing to gift their food offerings, so we’ve opted to support local vegan and vegetarian vendors instead. We hope the community understands and brings the 10 principles with them in all their many manifestations!

From the crew that has brought you years of out-of-this-world parties, including burner decompressions, City Circus and Wonderland - Melburners proudly presents their next interstellar extravaganza: Melburn Galactica.
A unique retro sci-fi experience within the extravagant Melbourne Pavillion, Melburn Galactica promises to be a place of cosmic enjoyment! The burner community is ready for a chance to showcase what we are made of, and we have something very special for you.
So dig up your space boots, dust off your astronaut suit, shine up that advanced head visor and find your fellow aliens at our galactic extravaganza!
There will be a host of performances, theme camps, art and music, with multiple worlds to visit throughout the day. They’ll be sure to transport you to other dimensions and have you surfing through time and space.
Galactica welcomes space aliens of all ages and species during the day, with lots on offer for children. But as per the intergalactic planetary prime directive, our space agency becomes 18+ after 7pm.
The Galactica space agency will open at 1pm sharp and return to interstellar space at 1am. So set your warp drives to maximum and get yourself a ticket to the best party this side of Saturn’s moons!
