Event description: 

We warmly invite you to join us at the Meli Foster a Future Breakfast, with special guest, survivor and advocate Sophie Delezio.

This is our third fundraising event for our annual foster care appeal, Foster a Future, to raise vital funds for foster care families. It is also an opportunity to show appreciation for our wonderful Foster Carers.  

Attendees will enjoy a seated breakfast, barista-made coffee, and inspiring guest speakers (see bios below).  

Tickets can be purchased individually or as tables of 10. We hope to see you there!

Keynote speaker: Sophie Delezio 

We’re excited to announce Sophie Delezio as the keynote speaker for the upcoming Foster a Future Breakfast. Sophie Delezio’s story is one of extraordinary resilience. Surviving two major accidents before the age of six, she overcame life-threatening injuries and immense physical challenges with courage and determination. Her journey from relearning how to walk and swim to thriving in everyday life continues to inspire thousands.
 
Now a powerful voice for disability awareness, Sophie shares her experiences with honesty and heart across TikTok and Instagram, where she connects with over 250,000 followers. With a love for adventure and wisdom beyond her years, she brings optimism, authenticity, and joy to everything she does.

Sophie will speak to the topic of “Resilience, Hope, and the Power of Community”  

MC: Myf Warhurst 

We’re delighted to welcome back the fabulous Myf Warhurst as our MC for the third time. A beloved voice in Australian entertainment, Myf’s career spans radio, TV, podcasting, and voice acting. From her early days as a music and arts journalist to her breakout role as team captain on ABC’s Spicks and Specks, Myf has become a household name.

She’s also the voice of Aunt Trixie on Bluey and has hosted a number of events such as the Eurovision Song Contest and documentaries including Meet the Neighbours, Keep On Dancing and The Truth About Menopause. With her signature warmth, wit, and charm, Myf brings energy and heart to every event she hosts.
