Melt the Ice!
Event description
None of us are free if one of us are chained. The current state of the country may feel increasingly hopeless, but the only thing to do is to band together.
Join us for an evening of song and spoken word, stirring words, inspiring anthems, and a chance to come together as a community. The program features DC based artists - Domingo Saint X, Elizabeth Mondragon, Nigel Rowe, Regie Cabico, Joe Haughton, Carla Rountree, Ben Clark, Haely Jardas, Meredith Richards, and more!
Profits will go to fund immigrant legal fees and representation through the National Immigration Project. NIP is a membership organization of attorneys, advocates, and community members who are driven by the belief that all people should be treated with dignity, live freely, and flourish. They litigate, advocate, educate, and build bridges across movements to ensure that those who are impacted by our immigration and criminal legal systems are uplifted and supported.
