Event description

This is part of a wellness event series by Nova X Solutions. This evening marks the first of three events designed to connect, educate and highlight the importance of self-care and wellbeing in our lives.

Join us for our first event that opens up the conversation around men’s wellbeing, self-care, and support. Whether you’re coming for yourself or bringing a mate, this evening is about connection, honest stories, and practical tools to help navigate life’s pressures.

Event Outline

Hear guest speaker Darren Peterson from Take Charge share his lived experience and practical strategies for looking after your mental health. He will be delivering his powerful talk: Recognise. Regulate. Reach Out. - a conversation about how to support yourself and others through life’s mental health challenges.

Enjoy a moment of self-care during the evening with a complimentary shoulder massage provided by Corporate Hands. They'll be onsite throughout the event -so jump in line and take a well-deserved break.

Light refreshments will also be available, so stay, connect, and enjoy a relaxed setting with your community.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to book early. Whether you're showing up for yourself or supporting a mate, this event will leave you feeling supported, informed, and reminded to take care of your own wellbeing.

Thank you to our sponsors: SOCO Realty and Take Charge & Dsign and Print Ideas South Perth.

Stay tuned for our next event in July, which will focus on Women’s Wellness with a spotlight on Menopause - a transformative life stage to be understood, supported, and celebrated.

Drawing from his own experience with anxiety and depression, he founded Take Charge to empower others with the tools, education, and self-awareness needed to better support their own wellbeing. Darren’s approach is grounded, relatable, and built on the belief that lasting change starts with understanding yourself first.

Event MC - Callum Potton – Founder of Löyly Recovery
Callum is the creator behind Löyly Mobile Sauna & Recovery Centre, bringing the ancient tradition of Finnish sauna to modern wellness experiences. With a background in FIFO work, he understands firsthand the impact demanding lifestyles can have on mental and physical health. Driven by a passion for holistic wellness, Callum is now expanding into a purpose-built wellness centre in Balcatta—designed thoughtfully with the community in mind. His vision is simple: create recovery spaces people actually want to spend time in. With a strong belief in the power of heat therapy and intentional rest, Callum continues to build spaces that support long-term wellbeing.
