Mending Crash Course Sewing Classes

What you can learn:
The Crash Course Into Mending is a beginner-friendly sewing course designed to teach essential mending skills such as hemming, creating pockets, sewing buttons, patching, inserting zips, and using a sewing machine. Delivered over 2–3 sessions of 2.5 hours each, this hands-on course is perfect for those looking to repair and extend the life of their garments.
This course is instructed by Vicki Carroll, an experienced ex-TAFE sewing instructor and a passionate sewer herself!
When:
3x Course Sessions held on Sundays, from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM (2.5 hours per session, over 3 weeks). The first session will be held on Sunday, April 27th.
Where?
Broome CIRCLE's new building on 124 Herbert Street, Broome
We supply the sewing machines, but if you have your own that you would like to use we encourage you to bring that along. Please bring any pants that you wish to have hemmed, and matching thread. We have materials you can use for patching, sewing buttons, creating pockets and inserting zips.
