Join us for this FREE mending class series, sponsored by the District Department of Energy and Environment.
Summary
Make your own bucket hat! We'll provide the basic pattern instruction for constructing a bucket hat with a step by step tutorial. Materials will be provided (fabrics, pattern, thread, needles). For this class we ask that you bring your own sewing machine if you have the means. We will rotate usage of machines throughout the class.
This workshop will be led by Motormouth, a creative platform facilitating projects and spaces to encourage collaboration and community.✨ MotorMouth has experience in upcycling and making unique clothing pieces, so we want to share sewing knowledge and encourage people to be open to creative solutions.
Please note: Masks are required for this workshop.
