Hi, I’m Brett.
I’m a Certified 9D Breathwork Facilitator, Trauma-Informed Coach and Reiki Practitioner based on the north side of Brisbane.
The work I do today comes from both professional training and a lifetime of lived experience.
I had a challenging upbringing that taught me resilience from a very young age. Like a lot of people from my generation, you didn’t really talk about what you were going through. You learned to stand on your own two feet, work hard and keep moving forward.
I carried that mindset into more than 33 years working as a rigger in the construction industry. It was an environment that taught me responsibility, resilience and how to perform under pressure, but it also showed me how easy it can be to spend years simply pushing through life without really paying attention to what’s happening underneath.
Being a father has also been one of the greatest influences on who I am today. Raising my daughter has taught me patience, responsibility and the importance of continuing to grow as a person.
My own search for deeper understanding eventually took me far beyond Australia. I spent several years living in the upper Amazon in Peru, where I worked alongside Indigenous healers and was introduced to traditional plant medicine and ancient healing practices. I also spent time living in Japan, an experience that gave me a deep appreciation for discipline, simplicity and self-reflection.
When 9D Breathwork came into my life, it brought many of those experiences together.
It helped me understand that no matter how mentally strong we become, the body can still hold onto years of stress, pressure and survival patterns.
That is why I now share this work with others.
My approach is simple, grounded and real. There is no pressure to perform, no expectation to be anything other than where you are, and no hype.
Just a safe space to slow down, breathe, reconnect with yourself and give your system an opportunity to reset.
One thing life has taught me is this:
Strength isn’t just about how much you can carry.
Real strength is knowing when it’s time to put some of that weight down.
If you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time and feel ready to find a steadier way forward, you’re welcome here.
