Mental Health and Wellbeing Masterclass - Session 5/6 - Marion
Event description
Mental Health and Wellbeing Masterclass
For too long small and family business owners have been led to believe their wellbeing is a luxury that comes after everything and everyone else.
We are very proud to partner with The City of Marion to deliver this mastermind series for small and family business owners and leaders to dedicate valuable time to themselves and their teams mental health - a crucial part of operating and maintaining a successful business.
It is an opportunity to connect with others, and be provided with essential tools and strategies to manage the ever-changing landscape of running a business.
* This session has guest facilitator Erin Faehmann from Lead with Play where you will:
- Connect, share and build relationships with other small business owners
- Bring some play into your day and being some satisfaction into your work
- Recharge and prioritise your own wellbeing
- Connect, share, and normalise experiences with other people who 'get it'
- Recognise common symptoms of mental health conditions
- Understand the impacts of stress, overwhelm and carrying the mental load
- Better manage the mental health of your team and build a culture of wellbeing
- Create boundaries to protect your time and energy
- Balance the demands of work and home
- Lead with confidence and clarity
This mastermind series is heavily subsidised* from the Office of Small and Family Business. It is a mixture of checking in with your experiences, mental health education, looking at wellbeing strategies, learning practical tools and most importantly the discussion, connection, sharing and problem solving with other leaders and business owners who 'get it'.
Are you ready to take action to look after yourself and your team so that your cash flow, business, products, services, clients, and customers benefit from a mentally happier, healthier team?
This initiative is proudly supported by the South Australian Office of Small and Family Business. It addresses the recent finding reported in their 2023–2030 strategic plan, revealing that 62% of small business owners feel that their mental health has been negatively impacted over the last 12 months.
The program is designed and led by Bel Ryan, a highly experienced clinician with over 20 years of expertise in areas such as facilitation, mental health training, art therapy, and counselling. Bel will collaborate with expert facilitators to share their knowledge and tools throughout the series of workshops.
