Participants will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to assist someone in need until professional help is available.

    Key Topics Covered:

    • Recognizing the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues.
    • Approaching and supporting someone in distress.
    • Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
    • The role of stigma in accessing mental health care and how to reduce it.
    • Local resources and referrals for continued care.

This training is ideal for anyone looking to better understand mental health challenges and offer meaningful support within their community. Whether you are a family member, educator, nonprofit worker, or simply a concerned citizen, Mental Health First Aid provides the tools necessary to make a difference.
