Mental Health First Aid Hybrid Course October
Description
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training equips you with essential knowledge and skills to provide initial support to those developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.
This training is for anyone looking to enhance their ability to identify, understand, and respond effectively to someone experiencing mental ill-health. It is a certified course valued and sought after in many industries such as Social Work, Education, Youth Work, Nursing, Paramedicine, and Psychology.
The hybrid MHFA course consists of an initial mandatory online component, which is self-paced and can be completed over several days, roughly taking between 7-9 hours of independent study. Depending on when you sign up, you will have a minimum of 2 weeks' prep time to complete this.
This MUST be completed before the in-class component.

Location: VU Footscray Park campus - Building P, Room P206.
Lunch will not be provided; kindly arrange for your food.
Ticket costs:
VUSU VIP Members - $50, with a $30 reimbursement, making the final cost $20
VU Students - $60, with a $30 reimbursement, making the final cost $30
Complete the modules before13th October and attend the face-to-face component to get the $30 refund.
No refunds will be processed once the e-learning modules have been provided.
