Mental Health First Aid Refresher Course

Event description

Refresher courses are available for individuals that have completed a full 2-day Mental Health First Aid® face-to-face course or a Blended or Blended Online Mental Health First Aid course, followed by the completion of an accreditation assessment within the last 3 years. 

These courses enable accredited Mental Health First Aiders™ to revise their knowledge and skills, and to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.

Am I eligible to enrol in a Refresher Course?


+ You are eligible for a refresher course if you have accredited as an MHFAider within the last three years.
+ Login to your MHFA™ account here to check your accreditation expiry date and access your Certificate of Accreditation. Please provide this certificate to the Instructor delivering the Refresher course so they can check your eligibility to attend.
+ Upon completion of your Refresher Course, you can attempt another accreditation assessment to extend your accreditation by a further 3 years.

Who is the workshop facilitator?

Caitlin Marshall is an experienced trainer and facilitator. She holds a Certificate IV in Teaching & Training. Caitlin has been a teacher and trainer in Community Services, Domestic Violence and Vicarious Trauma. She co-designed MakeShift: Creativity on Prescription, a program that is pioneering alternative mental health support in NSW.
