Mental Health First Aid Refresher - Stay Afloat - Wednesday 27th August 2025
Event description
The National Stay Afloat Program brings Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) to our community in an online format to support one another and deepen their understanding of ways that they can practically improve their own mental health and wellbeing as well as support each other.
Why Refresh my MHFA Certificate?
At any point in time, 1 in every 5 Australians are experiencing mental illness. Research has shown that the numbers may be even higher amongst our seafood community. Stay Afloat has worked with Mental Health First Aid Australia to specifically tailor a number of the learning examples to suit common challenges in Seafood. The course is delivered by people who understand the particular stressors that are often faced.
