Suzi Evans – Advocate, Author, and Facilitator
In 2018, Suzi Evans faced unimaginable heartbreak when her son Murray ("Muzz") tragically took his own life, just shy of his 30th birthday. Channeling her grief into purpose, Suzi discovered positive psychology and wellbeing, which became the cornerstone of her mission to support others navigating mental health challenges and loss.
Suzi lives with her husband Mick on their sheep property in the Murray Mallee and just as they were starting to find their way through the fog of grief, Mick was hospitalised for 6 months with Guillain Barre Syndrome – yes, we had never heard of it either let alone pronounce it, so we called it GBS. It is getting better slowly, but as Mick was paralysed from the neck down, he had to learn to walk again amongst many other challenges.
