BECOME A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER | TWO-DAY TRAINING COURSE

  • When: Tuesday November 26th, 8am-4pm & Wednesday November 27th, 8am-4pm.
  • Where: Luma, Northbridge: 227 Newcastle Street, Northbridge

Ran by licensed instructor and senior counsellor, Karen Tovey, Mental Health First Aid training, provides its participants skills to recognise and respond to someone experiencing a mental health crisis until the professional help comes along or the crisis is resolved.

Upon completion, participates become known as MHFAiders, who are equipped with the skills to provide support when it matters most, playing a vital role in reducing stigma and promoting pathways to support for those experiencing mental health problems in our workplaces, communities, schools, and tertiary institutions.
