Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is a certified course valued and sought after in many industries such as Social Work, Education, Youth Work, Nursing, Paramedicine and Psychology. MHFA is also a generally valuable skill to have in the workforce.

This Mental Health First Aid training course is worth over $80 but will be subsidised to just $50 by VUSU for all VU students and to $40 for all VUSU VIP Members.
In addition to the instructor-led face-to-face session on August 5th, 12.30PM - 4.30PM at the Footscray Park campus, there is also an initial mandatory online component which is self-paced and can be completed over several days and roughly takes between 5-7 hours of independent study.
Depending on when you sign up, you will have a minimum of 2 weeks prep time to complete this.
This MUST be completed before the in-class component.
complete the modules before August 4th, to get $40 back. no refunds will be given if the learning modules are not done.
