Event description
This online course is specifically tailored for Primary School Leaders and Staff of primary school aged children's mental health.
In recent times leaders and teachers have noticed a significant increase in issues relating to student health.

Leaders and Staff will also be aiding students who may have a caregiver or family member struggling with such mental health problems as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and/or substance use.
The workshop will cover:
- Understanding mental health; stress, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation
- Age-appropriate mental health promotion for students
- Responding to mental health problems - individuals and in-class response
- Supporting students through family crises
- Referral to services
